encourage persons of all skill levels, from beginner to advanced, to join
us.
Our monthly meetings
include sugarcraft demonstrations and a chance to socialize with other
cake decorators.

| The
guild started out as a small group who met at a members home. They developed
it into a guild in 2002 and today we boast more than 70 members, including
a few men, pastry chefs, students and teachers from SAIT and hobbyists,
ranging in all ages. Many members are beginners. It's a very co-operative
atmosphere, we welcome sugarcrafters of all skill levels.
Our
meetings provide demonstrations, hands on worshops, socializing and product
sales opportunities. The demonstrations include making gum paste flowers,
working with fondant and buttercream icing, basic piping, modelling with
